We're wrapping up the NFL draft today, talking a little bit of recruiting,

and obviously more off-season Notre Dame speculation because we could go all summer doing that.

Yeah.

But let's talk about some actual news, the NFL draft over the weekend.

Pretty much went as expected for Notre Dame.

Tim, I think it went almost identical to your expectations in terms of not only who got picked, but where they got picked.

There were some surprises from my perspective, but, you know, just Jalen going in the second

round, you sort of felt that was a good possibility.

Well, no, I wasn't really on that.

I mean, going into Thursday night, the thought was, okay, these are the teams late in

the draft that have a bunch of picks that could pick them.

But then going into Friday, when Adam Schaefter started, you know, he was talking to people and they were saying he's not going to get past the third round. Second round, surprise. The fact that it's the Cowboys, they do stuff like that. I think he's going to look great in a Dallas uniform. I know a lot of people don't like the Cowboys and don't like that prospect, but he's going to look great in a Cowboys uniform. And, you know, but that one was tough to project. And I thought Cavari Russell was tough to project. Although I had the, we had the biggest tip of all. At the end of Pro Day, he was walking over to talk to the media and then a guy

a guy who happened to be a scout call him over and Russell says to me

that's a scout from the Chiefs he's a lot more important than you are so he went

over there he went over and talked to him and as it turned out that's exactly who drafted

him you know he did you know he did one of the two teams he never visited, was Kansas City,

though.

He never visited.

He only didn't,

there was two teams that he thought.
