said at the beginning, we're going to intro overview, screw it. We're going to go right into number one,

because number one basically is the intro. I've never, never done a key like this before. I've

never put this kind of key into a game. I've never said anything. a key like this before. I've never put this kind of key

come across to you as insulting, condescending. I don't mean it at all. I'm being dead serious.

The number one key for the NER name defense against Purdue has changed everything.

And what I mean by that is not bench 11 starters and then put in 11 new guys because that doesn't fix anything because the same sickness that existed in the starters is still

there with the backups.

Change everything about who you are as a defense right now.

That means you had to practice differently this week.

Your focus, your preparation, your communication needed to be better. You need to change your

philosophy of defense, which is let's always be in the perfect play. You know, let's make these checks and all this.

Change your whole philosophy, change your whole read and react belief system,

change your coverage structure.

This is not a team still playing a high amount of zone man defense.

But even when they do play man, it's soft, it's passive.

It has no fight to it.
