It is now time for game predictions here on the Irish Breakdown podcast, brought to you by Fandu.

Basically what we do is we're going to give our score prediction,

and then we're going to talk through how we see this game playing out.

And then once Brian and I both give our predictions, we're going to talk some game

wreckers, some on offense and some on defense.

Typically, this is our favorite part of the segment in Keys to Victory shows on Thursday

shows here on the Irish Breakdown podcast.

But look, at the end of the day, I had a rough time with this game prediction because there's part of me that just I genuinely don't know what to see.

And I am now with this entire football team in straight up show me mode,

which has fed into what my prediction is going to be for this game.

So Brian, I'll go ahead and get us kicked off with game predictions and then I'll kick it back over to you.

But right now my final score prediction for this game, I have Notre Dame winning 45 to 24.

Look, at the end of the day, this offense shouldn't have any problem scoring on Purdue's defense. The offense didn't have any problem scoring on Texas A&M's defense either.

They put up 33 offensive points with not scoring on the first drive of have any problem scoring on Texas A&M's defense either. They put up 33

offensive points with not scoring on the first drive of the game or scoring on the first half

of the or first drive of the second half and with throwing a drive killing interception and not

being able to capitalize off the turnovers. Still put up 33 offensive points. So what is this

offense shown me? They can put points on the board. I think they get 45 points this week on offense. Athlete to athlete, Notre Dame clears across the board, but they have to be able to take care of the football and be clean operationally. That goes back to some of the keys to victory that I talked about on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, I have zero confidence right now they'll be able to stop Purdue's offense.

On paper, yes, we can have that conversation that, you know, they should be able to and

yada, yada, yada, but from what we've seen, the trend has not really been favoring to

Notre Dame's defense.

So how I see this playing out, I think Notre Dame's defense is going to struggle to stop
