Summary

In this episode, I am sharing everything I've learned and experienced the first year of my 30s. I felt it was really important to have this convo because I know there can be a lot of negativity surrounding turning 30 or just getting older in general, but as you’ll hear in today’s episode, many of the things I’ve learned and experienced since turning 30 are actually really positive.

If you’re turning 30 soon and are having fears + anxieties or if you are in your 30s now and maybe struggling with that — I hope today’s convo can help change your perspective on getting older and ease any fears or worries. I PROMISE it is so much better on this side!

things that I've learned, things that I feel nobody tells you when you enter your 30s.

0:50.6

I'm only barely a year in. But I did feel it was really important to have this conversation because

1:01.1

I know there can be a lot of negativity surrounding turning 30 or just getting older in general.

1:06.4

And first of all, I just want to say we do not subscribe to that belief here at all. I think getting

older is an absolute privilege. And secondly, as you'll hear in today's episode, many of the

1:17.6

things that I've learned and experienced since turning 30 are actually really, really positive.

1:22.1

So if you're turning 30 soon and are having some fears and anxiety around that, or maybe you're

1:26.6

already in your 30s and you're

1:27.9

having a hard time adjusting to this new season. I hope today's conversation can really help

change your perspective on getting older and also just ease any fears or worries that you might

have because I promise you now that I'm a year in it is so much better on this side. I have loved the first year of my 30s

1:46.6

way more than I've ever enjoyed my 20s. And that's saying something. So I really hope that you

1:51.8

enjoy today's conversation. If you do, I would so appreciate if you could write and give the

podcast a five-star review. It just helps the podcast get discovered to more people and send this episode to anyone who
