The Gospel is the good news of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ,

but it is only good news to those who hear it.

Every believer is to go with the Gospel.

Today, we study with Scott Pauling what God's Word teaches about becoming a more effective

witness for Christ.

Is gospel work only for preachers?

Absolutely not.

As a matter of fact, everybody whose life has been touched by the gospel, changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, is responsible and is privileged to be a part

of gospel work. Every believer should be helping to put the go in the gospel.

We've come in our study to Psalm 107 today, a great testimony song,

where the Bible says, Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good.

For his mercy endureth forever.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

So it means if you are one of the redeemed ones, are you saved? If you are, then you ought to say so.

Witnessing is not just presenting facts about God. It really is praising God to other people. I'm afraid too often we have so excused the use of this term canned our gospel presentation that it almost sounds

like a sales pitch, like something we've just simply memorized and we're reciting from our head.

Instead, it ought to come from a heart overflowing with worship.

Those who've experienced the grace of God should be excited about sharing that truth with other people,

of making much of Jesus.

Matthew 1234 says, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.

Psalm 147.1 says,

praise is comely for the upright. There's nothing more beautiful than a believer filled with gratitude,
