Welcome back to another episode of sex chat for Christian wives. Today we're talking about non-sexual ways to increase intimacy in your marriage. Why is that so important? Well, you

probably know from your own marriage or from observing others that non-sexual

interactions can make or break a marriage. And research shows that too. Renowned sex and marriage

researcher John Gottman says that all couples with great sex lives have 13 things in common

and that only one of those things directly involve sex. And conversely, couples with poor sex lives tend to have six things in common, none of which are directly related to sex.

So ladies, let's talk about why this is true and how we can leverage it to benefit our marriages.

First, why is this even a thing? What do non-sexual activities and interactions have to do with

intimacy and marriage? Well, you want to have sex with someone that you feel really, really good about,

which is why you married your husband to begin with, I would hope. But, you know, the daily grind

and just differences in your personality and stressors and

all those kinds of things can get in the way of that. And, you know, our connection can falter. And it's
