So at the time of this recording it is two weeks to our European honeymoon we We're going to be checking out Spain and Portugal. Can't wait for that trip and I'm thinking about how I feel coming up with this and

0:19.6

a lot of times I'm the person who doesn't get really excited until things get super close.

0:24.8

Normally even less than two weeks out is when the excitement sets in, but I'm starting to get

0:29.5

excited now.

0:30.5

And some of that is because I've been booking the hotels and

0:33.4

booking aspects of what we're going to be doing while there so that's getting

0:37.5

very real I'm getting feedback from people and oddly enough I asked the question on social media that yielded highly helpful responses

0:47.4

about how to think about this trip because initially we were going to try to see three countries

0:51.5

and then someone pointed out like you want to be able to look around more like if you're somewhere you don't want to have to rush off you don't want to feel like you're on a schedule and maybe some people like to feel like they're on a schedule. They like to see as many possible things as they can.

But I know when I'm on a trip, I like to be kind of chill. I like to relax. I don't like to be bouncing around from place to place, from city to city like every other day and so the way that I thought

1:14.4

about this trip and the way that I proposed this trip was that we'll spend

1:19.2

roughly four nights in each of the major cities that we're going to stay in

1:22.4

so that's a couple of days solid cities that we're going to stay in.

1:22.6

So that's a couple of days solid in that city.

1:24.5

If we want to do a couple of trips outside the main cities that we're staying

1:29.3

and we can do that.

1:30.4

But so glad that we decide to go from three countries to two so that we can go

1:34.8

deeper within those two countries and then also when you're on these trips and

1:38.9

you're in other countries like you don't want to be spending all your time in

1:41.7

an airport and that's something I didn't really think about until I saw some of these responses on

1:46.2

threads at Rich Run's track on threads which is connected to IG.

1:49.5

And if you don't know what threads is, it's kind of like Twitter or X, but Instagram's version of that a lot less
