Good morning, Church. How are you this morning? Good. That was a little quiet.

Hey, I am Katie Carly, and there was a time in my life when I was the daughter of an atheist.

And as a result of that, plus my own disposition to life, I was full of doubt and I was full of

anxiety.

And then I met Jesus.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I met Jesus.

And though I met Jesus, all my fears and all my doubts did not magically disappear.

But because his love is better than life, I could face

those doubts and I could face those fears with him. And that's the better thing. He became my

counselor and my friend and my teacher. And he became my refuge in life and in death so praise him yeah okay so fast forward

and my husband and i and my four girls live and serve in the middle east And we provide crisis care for ministers and nationals in the

region. Yeah. And so we are a little bit like spiritual nurses on the front lines. And I just want to

testify as we've been singing today that though the nations rage and they are the

Middle East is Middle Easting right now though the nations rage his throne the Lord's

throne is established on high and he is preparing and tending his bride for the wedding feast. So, yeah, so let's take heart. Let's take heart.

Let's face our fears and our doubts with the Lord. So I, our family is in need of support right now

to keep doing what we're doing. And so please come by

and see me in the foyer after services. That would be lovely. But now for the reading of the word.
