Welcome back to Jonesburg. Previously on resurrection,

Zander Reed returned to his hometown of Jonesburg, Idaho, after college expecting a quiet reset

before moving on with his life, has instead found himself surrounded by a mysterious church.

It seems less like a house of worship, and more like a dangerous machine, still running long after

its founder's death. Decades earlier, Marcus Abraham Emery had built the children of Abraham

into a loyal, secretive congregation, convinced that a new age was coming, and his death did not

end their apocalyptic mission. It only drove their faith deeper underground. Strange sightings and hushed

disappearances followed in the years ahead, and Zander's longtime girlfriend, Tissy Rainwater's

increasingly seemingly coached behavior that her new friend Joey Sherman noticed right from the start

is pushing Zander towards realizing that maybe Jonesburg's consistent evasiveness isn't just quirky,

but dangerous. After glimpsing a strange vanishing figure in the field near the church,

Zander begins to consider a terrifying possibility. What if whatever Abraham started isn't finished?

With the help of his friend Sammy Alvarez, will he find out who the children of Abraham
