I welcome my colleague Professor Evan Ellis of the U.S. Army War College Strategic

Studies Institute. We begin in Venezuela. This is a challenge because the information coming out of Caracas is very unjustworthy.

The Maduro regime is in charge of those channels.

At the same time the opposition is on the run, we're told, from the corrupt election of July 28th.

The headline in Reuters, however, have datelined out of Brasilia as well as outside of Brazil, is challenging.

The headline reads, not fast or furious.

Nations take measured reaction to Venezuela election.

The point of this article is,

most governments have demanded that Venezuela National Electoral Council,

it writes, release a full set of voting tally sheets after both Madura and the opposition

candidate and Mundo Gonzalez declared that he had won victory.

Brazil and others have been trying to secure talks between these two sides, political

rivals that have not conciliated in decades.

Professor, a very good evening to you. The story so far can be encapsulated in the fact that

the election of July 28 was corrupted by orders of the regime. The opposition managed amazingly to get a very accurate

count with receipts of the voting stations showing that Edmondo Gonzales the opposition choice once Maria Karina Machado was disenfranchised by law fair.
