Right, let's get straight into it,

and straight into WWE becoming a smidge desperate

when it comes to this year's SummerSlam.

Now, of course, SummerSlam takes place from Minneapolis's US Bank Stadium

over the weekend of August 1st and 2nd.

And ticket sales, well, I mean,

safe to say ticket sales have not been exactly what WWE would be hoping for. Now, for some context,

US Bank Stadium has a general capacity of around 60,000 people, can be expanded up to 72,000 if needed. And the latest from WrestleMania Tics is that SummerSlam is being set up for a crowd

of 29.5,000 and both days so far have sold approximately 22.5,000 tickets each. Now, for comparison,

last year, SummerSlam, which was from New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, that had 53,000 fans for day one,

60,500 on day two. So yeah, that's quite the drop-off.

And yet another indicator that WVE is one, becoming more and more expensive for regular fans.
