So as we thought beforehand, there was a lot of NBA players on this episode of Sandlight's main event,

if you can even call it an episode. Yes, the secret cat was Carl Anthony Towns. Everybody went crazy at me yesterday. I was trying to work things out with the C. Okay, we tied it into a cat. So I was like, who is called C-A-T? I have a problem, all right? And I likely should be shot out of a cannon. Also, my friends, welcome to ups and downs, the only wrestling review show you need. And maybe the OG wrestling show on YouTube. That's not true, but I've said it now, and I can't take it back. But it's like and simple, WWE did have a very kind of chilled satellite's main event last night from Madison Square Garden. I've watched it. I'm going to give you my thoughts. Please do give me your thoughts as well in the comments below, but mostly I thought I was

alright. And WWE did start this correctly too because it was fatal influence taking on

Paige and Bree Bella and fatal influence are your brand new WWW women's tag team champions.

Now listen, we do need to do a lot of work with every single division in the WW when it comes to the tag team scene. But we did it in Madison Square Garden. That was cool.

It's not like Paige and Bree Bella had been doing much recently. And now, of course, given

that fatal influence haven't been up that long from NXT, let's light a fire under their ass.

Not literally. Lately read blind tagging in kind of changed the momentum before

Brebella went pre-mode, which for some reason turns out into some kind of anime character.

And of course Paige was getting in there, but really, it was Lacey Lane, Lacey Lane on the

outside, who did start casting interference and doing the distractions because she has probably

watched every single WW show in and gone, there's no consequences. We can do whatever we want, so it may as well. Random Note 2, I actually quite like Fatal Influences theme and in a world where we don't get very many good entrance themes. We may as well put it over. But yes, this didn't go that long. It can't be more than what, five, six, seven, eight minutes. It felt short. And actually tied into the baby face storyline, which really means we shouldn't get mad at fatal influence. But basically, we had the most devastating move in all the sports entertainment front page on Laney Reid. When J.C. James was just like, well, I'm going to sneak in here. I'm going to reverse the polarity.

It meant Fatal Influence got the one, two, three to win the belt.

But yes, I've just had this relevation as I am talking to you. You can't be mad at Fatal Influence. They only did what the babyface team has been doing for the last few months. So more full them. It's kind of amusing as well because Jacey did this right in front of the referee, who I guess was like, you know what, I just can't be bothered.

But listen, sometimes it is about the destination or not the journey. And giving these guys some belts was an important thing to do, but yes, just to repeat myself. A, we need more teams because all the women's tag teams need to have fallen off the planet. But also we just need some decent stories. We know these three guys, especially if J.C. Jane is leading it, can get mega heat while promoing. Let's do that on Raw. Let's do that on SmackDown. I'm still going to give it up. I doubt we'll ever talk about it again, but it was fine. Samuze was then backstage and he would never call himself a victim, but it started to feel that way when Gunther interrupted and said, listen, you do exactly what I tell you to do, and don't get in my way because we need to get to the main event at SummerSlam. But the most important note here did come from Sam, who said, why is it that Cody Rhodes and CM Punk were just allowed to have a conversation and all of a sudden they've got a big title match? It makes a very good point. This is why Geese title shot never works. When WWE made it very clear that J.D. McDonald taking on Danhausen was a no disqualification match. They must have said it about 42 times. Although the amusing part is, of course, Dominic Mysterio kept getting involved. But he also not get involved. I was like, Dom, it's no DQ. Why don't you basically

turn it into a handicap? The whole story as well revolved around Dan Housen's Nick's journey. This really was a bit like the bully stole my clothes, because all J.D. McDonough and Dominic did, like they rubbed it on their crotch, they kind of threw it on the floor. It just really made me laugh. It's so ridiculous. And I guess, listen, we do have a personal affectation for a

police of clothing you do have. You certainly don't want somebody to rub their ass on it. But I guess there's levels in wrestling. But you could also break it down to Goofy Wrestling for Life. I also want to point out it's incredibly unhygienic to do that with the basketball journey. And of course, Dan Houssen had a wonderful plan here because halfway through the match, who appeared from underneath the ringed just to attack the Judgment Day? It was the Mini Housins. And we're kind of entering a world where if we don't do this in a big Dan Housen match, some people are genuinely going to be upset. We think on to what we've already talked about, That's the fact that Dan Housen did have his big old cloning machine again. And yes, he found a cat like all good professional wrestling matches around about three quarters of the way through. You need to find a feline. But he put it into his contraption and yes, out came Carl Anthony Towns from the New York Knicks. And I just thought this was fantastic man. It was so stupid. I want you to keep that in your brain because we're going to have a very different opinion

when we get to the end of the show. But the choke slams he gave J.D. McDonner and Donut Mysterio through a table. Dom's was okay. But J.D. clearly gone, well, you know, I need to butt my ass off for this guy. He's not a proper wrestler in inverted commas. I honestly thought he was dead the way he landed.

Danhausen then hit the triple D for the one, two, three.

And look, the last five minutes of this, Madison Square Garden absolutely loved it. And nowadays, you just know, you can probably bet your house on it. If Dan Housen is in a match like this, you're just going to have a good time. And I did. Not every single thing needs to be the best thing ever. Not every single thing needs to be five stars, six point two five stars in the Tokyo Dome. Sometimes I want to put my butt in the seat and just go, this stupid stuff I've ever seen in my life, but at least I can enjoy it. I am giving it up. Crazy Lairogeria then cut a promo, letting us know a couple of things. One, she is crazy and two, she's quite sad. When she too has a brand new entrance, I actually think we've done a good job with this music as well. The best part is, when she was in the back, she's like, oh man, look at me, kind of like a hobo. When she made her way to the ring, she had this sparkly gear on, but once again, she has gone insane. Mainly also cut a promo beforehand saying, well, I gave her a chance and I must murder her.

And these two, I swear, you can take your smooth wrestling and your choreographed,

whatever you want to call it, and do that wherever you want, and I probably still will enjoy
