Hamas says Israel's plan to further displace Gaza's population to the south will, quote, sacrifice hostages.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu laid out a planned military operation yesterday to send more forces into the area, which one Israeli minister described

as a proposal to, quote, conquer the region.

CNN's Paula Hancock's has more.

Well, Joe, the families of the hostages still being held in Gaza are condemning these

expanding military plans, saying this endangers their loved ones.

And as Gaza is now in its ninth week without any humanitarian aid entering,

French foreign minister Jean-Nuel Barreau says this plan is not acceptable.

He claims an urgent need for a ceasefire and unhindered access for humanitarian aid.

He also calls on Hamas to release all hostages.

The FAA has imposed a new ground delay for flights bound for Newark Liberty International Airport

until midnight. Today marks the ninth straight day of staff shortages at the New Jersey airport, triggering delays.
