On today's show, we are recapping day one of free agency for the New York Jets.

We'll talk about why the Jets moves, show that Aaron Glenn is the guy driving personnel decisions on this team. We'll take a big picture look at some of the things the Jets did well on Free Agency day one and some of the things that did not go so well. But we'll begin by talking about the individual players

the Jets brought in on this opening day

of the NFL off season.

In some ways, I was not surprised by the way

the Jets acted on Monday.

Most of the insider accounts said

that we should not expect the Jets to be involved

in a lot of big money deals.

And that was accurate.

The Jets did not reset the market at any position.

They did not give out a record-setting deal for any player that they brought in. But they were more

active than I expected them to be. The Jets ended up bringing in six players on the defensive side

of the ball, five through free agent signings and one trade. And I'm going to go down the list now, and I'm going to give you my thoughts on the players the Jets acquired on Monday.

I'll start with the moves I like the best, and we'll go down to the moves I liked the least at the end.
