Friends, we all have subconscious limits placed on us throughout life, but especially in childhood.

We're often completely blind to these.

So much about succeeding at anything in life is about unlearning these false limits.

A great example of this is a story I think I've told on the show before, but it bears repeating.

And it's the story of the mighty and intelligent elephant.

When people are training an elephant from youth,

they'll attach it to a pole.

And this pole is too strong for the young elephant to knock over, to free itself from.

And so the elephant as a child learns not to try.

It thinks that it will always be too weak, too small,

to overpower this poll.

But that's not true,

because eventually that elephant becomes an adult.
