1:20.0	You bet. It's my pleasure to join you. To start off with, I want to go back to the basics for some of the
1:25.4	people listening who might not know a lot about the microbiome.
1:28.3	So what is it and why is it so important that we take care of it?
1:32.3	It's a great question. Great place to start. I think most people at some point have heard of, have heard the word microbiome, but what is it, right? It's this collection of bacteria all throughout our bodies.
1:46.5	And usually people associate the microbiome with the gut. And that's where a large portion of
1:52.5	our bodies, microbiome resides. But we actually have microbiomes and these populations of bacteria
1:59.5	that are in our bodies, that are on our bodies,
2:03.1	and in our respiratory system, all of our mucosal layers.
2:08.5	So they perform really, really important functions in helping to support our digestive process
