Today we're talking about new legal representation for Tesla,

a couple of analyst upgrades,

as well as Model 3 inventory.

I'm recording a little bit earlier than I normally would.

It's a little bit after, Central Time right now.

So the markets are not closed yet,

but Tesla so far having a really strong day,

up 2.49% to $372.10% as I record and the NASDAQ is currently down 2 percent.

So quite a positive spread for Tesla versus the broader markets.

I think this is mostly continuation of Tesla's relative strength in the market, but there is some news out there that should be mostly perceived as positive.

The biggest news is that Tesla has a new general counsel lawyer replacing Todd Marion who's been with Tesla for about five years.

If you watch the annual shareholders meeting, you may recognize Todd, he generally reads the

disclosures at the beginning of the meeting and handles kind of the voting period in that meeting.

So he will be leaving Tesla in January

to be replaced by a very, very prestigious lawyer

from Williams and Connolly, LLP, named Dane Butzwinchus.

I say very prestigious because according to vault.com, Williams and Connolly LLP

is the number one most selective law firm in the United States and the number one

best law firm for white collar defense and internal investigations. On top of that
