Hello and welcome to the Thursday December 13th

2018 edition of Tesla Daily on Official Tesla Podcast.

Thank you for bearing with me the last few days as I have been out on a work trip.

Today we're talking about Elon Musk's 60 Minutes appearance on Sunday evening.

I think that was the most controversial thing that happened

while I was out still catching up a little bit. This was a particularly busy trip

for me. We also got a price target update that we'll talk briefly about as well.

Definitely pleased with the performance of Tesla stock so far this week.

Today another strong day finishing up 2.78% to $376.79 cents this compared to the

NASDAQ down 0.39.39.

This was the second highest close of the year for Tesla so far.

Back in August, early August,

Tesla closed around $379.50. And the highest all-time closed for Tesla.

It's only a few percentage points from here at $385 back in September of 2017.

So we're getting pretty close to all-time highs, which got me curious about how

Tesla's truly performed since the Q3 earnings report came out, because as we've been

talking about, that report to me represented a fundamental shift for the business which would

hopefully attract new buyers and help drive Tesla into kind of that next price tier.

So far the price action that we've seen to me I think does indicate that some of that's

happening we can never be sure obviously but even setting aside the initial

spike that we saw after earnings and going from the closing price on
