Maower. Today we're talking about Tesla in China, solar roofs in California,

and some interesting news about Slacker and Tesla don't get too excited, nothing to do

with Spotify at this point in time.

Tesla stock continued its relatively strong performance finishing the day up 0.93%

to $3.63.6 cents this compared to to the NASDAQ up 0.42 percent.

The biggest news of today is related to Tesla's Gigafactory 3 in China.

The Shanghai government had a meeting with Tesla, after that meeting they came out with a

statement most importantly they addressed the timeline of Gigafactory 3 by saying quote the

Tesla superfactory project which is located in the Ling Yang, Heavy Equipment Industrial Zone,

integrates R&D manufacturing and sales functions,

and is the largest foreign investment manufacturing

project in Shanghai's history.

At present, the project has basically completed land

leveling and is about to start construction. It is expected to be partially put in

operation in the second half of next year."

The statement also says that city leaders, quote,

encouraged enterprises to accelerate the construction of the factory

on the premise of ensuring production safety and project quality."

So quite a lot here from the Shanghai government, first of all, construction on

Gigafactory 3 is about to start. That's super exciting.
