In the summer of 1992, a young man named Christopher McCandless died a tragic death in the

wilds of Alaska.

He'd long before left his old life behind and had wandered the American West, working

when he needed money to support his simple lifestyle and exploring the world outside

of the normalcy of everyday life.

In April 1992, he headed into the Alaskan wilderness determined to live off the land, but it

turned out to be Chris' final journey.
