Hello, everyone. I'm Sean Rook. I'm a writer, producer and host now in San Diego, California,

but by way of Los Angeles, California.

And in honor of Ned Beatty, who we are discussing all week, we are going back to the very,

very, very beginnings of the cine files. And one of our earliest episodes, and in order

to talk about it, we have brought back one of our favorite guests on the cine files who

was on. He was our very first guest. And that is Michael Vogel. Welcome back to the cine files.

Thank you. It's a pleasure to be here as always.

And the film we were talking about is Superman. And it was when we were, we didn't even know

what the show was going to be. And at the very beginning, we went, we want to have a guest,

we want to have Michael. And we went, let's do Superman. And we didn't really even know

what we were doing. And I think it's one of those shows that helped us slowly start to

figure this thing out. And it's funny, Michael, we've talked about deliverance and Ned

Beatty's performance there. We talked about, no, no. Yes, then network and his performance

there. So we go from this person who's, you know, horrible, horrible things happen in

deliverance to the incredibly powerful character of Arthur Jensen. He plays in network and

now Otis. Otis. What do you think about this actor? Just based on what you just said,

man had some range, right? He, you know, I, I always like Ned Beatty. Ned Beatty is one

of those guys. And I, and this is going to come across probably sounding not good like

or bad, but he was the guy who was always the actor that you recognize, at least growing

up. I recognized him, but he wasn't like the big actor that I looked up to as I was becoming
