problem uh i've been watching the n lcs because i live in the dc area and so i am like the twins

are still my favorite baseball team but the gnats are kind of 1A now by happenstance.

So I've been watching them.

But I haven't really gotten into Yankee Stroes.

I just can't.

I can't get it up for it.

Am I stupid in this?

I think that with any of this stuff, we talked about this a lot because this is, like,

Loki, this is like a podcast about aging where there's, like, some sports and, like, food elements thrown in. These are good teams, though. They are good teams, man, but, like, that first, the game two, which was amazing, ended at, like, 120 in the morning on a school night. That wasn't really very fun. That's true. That was an 11 ending affair.

But listen, that is an age thing. I stayed up to watch it and I was trash the next day.

Ah, well, see, but yeah, but that's the whole October thing. Like, the whole October thing

is people like Will Leach being like, I stayed up to 3M every night. and this is so exhausting and stressful. But we baseball! That's an incredible Leach imitation. Yeah, it sounds just like him. It's like it's right here. Yeah. There's not enough stammering in it to actually be Leach, but. No, but for real, these are two exciting young teams, particularly, frankly, the Yankees, because they have Aaron

Judge, they have D.D. They have these really cool players. And so I want to get into this more

than I am into it, and yet I am not. So what is my problem here, apart from just being an idiot?

Yeah, I mean, that was where my mind went first. But I think that there's, there's also this, you know, both of those teams feel like such overwhelming favorites. Yes. For the World Series that, like, I mean, I'm enjoying watching the Nats, and that's not a team that was not an organization I like very much. The team itself is pretty likable, to be honest, but. Yeah, oh, I think so. I like all the players on the Nats. Yeah, they have this kind of, like,

team of destiny vibe now,

which, like, a lot of teams have right up until they play, you know, either the Yankees or the Astros in the World Series, and then they're like, whatever. But there's, you know, that this is the fun part, you know, that like the Yankees and the Astros really going after it and
