I'm hearing double. Two Drews. If we are interrupted during the podcast today, it's because my in-laws, my mother-in-law went to the doctor and she had to drop off her dog.

And so I have two dogs in the house and one of them just took a shit on the floor. Hey, congrats, man. It was awesome. And then I think, I think the dog, I think my in-law's dog stepped in the shit. Oh, it's even better content. Yeah. And I had to look in the, on his paws to make sure there was no shit like between his like doggy toes.

What are the, what are the end point? What are the, you don't know I'm talking about? The end of the dog's paws. Doggy toes. Are they toes? To toenails? Yeah, what? We all know what you're talking about. The little, the paw nubs. Paw nubs. Well, anyway,. Well, anyway, I looked on my shoes because I wear shoes in the house, and I looked between his toes, and I couldn't find the shit anywhere.

So somewhere in this house, there's a mystery swath of dog shit somewhere ready to strike.

And because I had a brain hemorrhage, I can't smell.

So I don't know where the dog shit is. So my kids or my wife are going to bust in, they're going to be like, what's that? This adds an element of a freeze-on of danger to the rest of your day, which is exciting. Why, yes. So Dom is here to talk about the NFL. Before we do that, we really ought to talk about the World Series

because it kicked off last night by the time this post-game 2 will have occurred.

And it's the Washington Nationals, who I can't believe are in the World Series,

going against the vile Houston Astros, who suck this week for very particular reasons.

Luckily for America, the Nationals won last night,

five to four in a game that was terrifying for Nat's fans at first

because it started off with Max Scherzer giving up two runs

in the top of the first, or in the bottom of the first, I should say,

and throwing about 8,000 pitches within the first four innings.

And the nationals are the sort of team where they don't really have a bullpen.

They have to basically have starters moonlight as relievers for each other

because they just can't rely on anybody in the bullpen

doing anything worth of shit. But anyway, brilliant Juan Soto knocked in a few runs. They took the

lead and they never relinquished at Roth. Was this a good World Series game? Hell yeah, it was a

good World Series game. It was, I mean, it was good in the sense that it was fun to watch

and closely contested. It was probably 45 minutes longer than a game with that score should have been, but that's the World Series for you. And Scherzer was laboring so hard, you know, just the first three innings especially, which, like, that was kind of difficult to watch. It wasn't, like, exciting to watch. It was just, you kept waiting for things to go bad. It's wild that he wound up with like a better line than Garrett Cole who was electric except for when he was giving up home runs. Yeah. Well, because he gave up two solo home runs at first. And I still agree with, and I can't remember the analysis, the analyst that said it, but you can sort of live with a solo home run and

kind of chalk it off, sort of like a one-off, like, okay, that's an anomaly, whatever, move
