A hurricane's got major news on Wednesday, beating out rival Florida for top 24-7 safety ofante Williams.

It was pretty impressive if you consider what they did after a six and seven season through the high school ranks and the transfer ranks.

We're also going to, I guess I'm going to share some stories about some behind-the-scenes stuff that probably a lot of recruiting fans don't

know kind of happened in the 2020 cycle and then we're finally going to get into what Manny

Diaz and Derek King and everyone said at Wednesday's press conferences. So David, how are you doing

on this fine Thursday? Yeah, it was definitely a cool signing day for Miami fans,

which I was trying to remember the last successful national signing day in February for this

program. I feel like it had been a while, so certainly it was fun to see Avanti pick Miami over Florida.

And I think we should just jump right into that.

You know, take us through.

Because you hinted at the podcast leading up to signing day.

You know, maybe it was a slight Florida lead, but Miami was in this thing for

real, potentially making up ground, potentially maybe even being in a spot to land his commitment.

So take us through the timeline of what you learned since we ended that recording

of the podcast. So I guess Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday night, going into Wednesday morning,

and then you were there at the announcement. So tell us what we need to know.
