to say who is a licensed marriage couples and addiction therapist from Pennsylvania who is the

owner of BCA therapy with over 10 years of clinical experience working with long term consequences

of unhealthy and addicted relationship Bryn thank you so much for being here thank you for having

me I'm really excited to talk with you today I just first have to know like we've had so many

therapists and doctors and psychologists on this podcast I have to know what got you into the

specialty of sort of a dicting addictive is it a dicting addictive relationships with narcissistic

abuse what gave you insight into wanting to go deeper into that category well if we bring it all

the way back I actually was a parole officer for many years and within that realm to make a very

long story short I came across a lot of individuals as you can imagine you were coming through the

criminal justice system coming through jails and through the courts that had problematic use

with drugs and alcohol so there was little support little treatment I mean people were doing

the best they came with what they had but the resources were not enough so I made the decision

to go back to school and to get my degree and then to start working as a therapist and to be

honest with you so many people individuals couples families that I see where addiction is a part of
