because they've been like having to navigate.

And I feel like I'm like, okay, I'm gonna soften, and then you can soften.

And then I can read your mind and get you to tell me how your hair feels to you.

And then I can like pull out my skills.

My name is Katie Delbout. This week, I have a treat in store for you.

One of my favorite people to talk to someone who inspires me. Her energy is just really great to be around.

And listen, you get to have her in your ears, not just this week, but for the next

couple, because I went to her studio and we talked about, we covered a lot, and I'm splitting

this into multiple parts. Ryan Bassetti is a tremendous hairstylist.

Mine, my friends, we met in a really kismet way

that we tell over the next several hours.

As well as she has lived so many lives.

You're gonna hear about her modeling career. You're going to hear about

her working in finance, moving to New York, how she got into hair. She gives so much great hair

advice. She talks about the importance of softening within work. Her style hair cutting is so special,

not just because I get to talk to her and spend time with her, but honestly, the haircut is an afterthought.

I really just like getting to hang out with Ryan to tell you the truth.

But she's so, so good at what she does, not to downplay that at all.
