Hello, I'm Bex and welcome to The Week Junior Show. Today I'm joined by two of the team from the Week Junior, the magazine making sense of the world for 8 to 14 year olds. We've got writers Eve and Kay. So lots to cover in today's episode. We're going to be talking about how the world has come together to help people in Myanmar after an earthquake, a solar eclipse that could be seen across the UK and a very special

cat. Eve is also going to be talking to some of the cast of a Minecraft movie later on as well

and asking some very important questions. But before all of that, this episode's big debate is

going to be about April Fool's Day and whether it's unkind. So that got me thinking,

what is your favourite April Fool's Day prank?

Now, I'm not going to lie to you, I'm bad at pranks.

I fall for them.

I can't set them up.

So my favourite pranks are kind of like big ones that other people do.

One of the best ones I heard about was in 1980,

the BBC World Service said that Big Ben was going to be replaced.

So instead of having the clock face, it was going to have a digital

timer on there. And it wasn't going to be called Big Ben anymore. It was going to be called Digital Dave.

And they'd have bongs. I said instead of bongs, sorry, they'd have beeps. And it would put out news

bulletins for five minutes on the hour. I love the idea of Digital Dave. I love beeps across London. I love this weird news

service coming out of this massive tower for five minutes every hour. And people were,

some people were furious about it. Some people were very, very cross, the idea of Digital Dave

taking over Big Ben. So that is my favourite one. I love a one that is ridiculous, but people fall

for. Eve, how about you? that is ridiculous, but people fall for.

Eve, how about you? Mine is nowhere near as massive as that. And personally, I'm not, you know,

I don't do April Fool's Day Prince because I'm just not creative enough. But I read a book when

I was younger. I think it was called The Revenge Files of Alastor Fury. And there was a bit where the main character was trying to get revenge on his family and he put
