What's up?

Welcome back to the Good Day podcast.

I'm so excited to have you joining me today for another episode.

And I'm really looking forward to today's chat because I want to just dive in a little bit more

to sharing my story and really the journey I've been on in these last seven years now that I've

been in this blogging world. I started blogging in 2015 in the fall and here we are in 2022 and it's

crazy to think that I'm still still doing this and

still here and have made this into a full-time job, a successful business that supports,

fully supports our family and has just been, it's really been the craziest thing these last few

years. And so I thought it might be

fun today to just kind of, you know, chat with you guys about what these last few years have

looked like and really like how I have found myself where I'm at today because I will tell you,

and I think I said this in the very first episode, I'll link that in the show notes, but in the

very first episode, I chatted through a the show notes, but in the very first

episode, I chatted through a little of my story and how I got started, but I refer to myself

often as an accidental blogger, truly 100% an accidental blogger because I, when I started

sharing photos on Instagram, had no clue what world I was stepping into. I had no clue there were

bloggers out there. I didn't even know what a blog was in 2015. I just to give you a little bit of

my backstory on how I got started and I don't want to talk about it too much because I already

went into it in episode one. But I just started posting photos of our house. At the time, we lived in this really cute little fixer-upper. It was 1980s home, tons of character, tons of charm. And so I fell in love with it. It was the cutest little house. And I was doing projects. I was painting things. I was decorating. All of those things I had enjoyed my

whole life all the way back to when I was a little girl. I can remember rearranging my room
