And today the episode is about those points in our lives

when we feel overwhelmed, depressed even, dissatisfied the way our lives are going.

If you're lucky you've got a family member or a friend to talk it over with, but it's

more likely your friends and family are part of the problem. So who do we turn to? A therapist,

a teacher, a spiritual guide, perhaps? That but who are these people in the long white

robes how do we know they aren't just as screwed up as we are on this episode of

unfictional my so Called Guru, two stories about healers and teachers who do not have the best interests of their students in mind.

Beginning with actress Lauren Weidman.

Her boyfriend has this yoga teacher who claims to be helping him heal.

But what do they really talk about on those long walks of theirs?

My boyfriend had a friend, a very, very dear friend of his, who he would go on walks with all the time.

I don't know if I should say her name or not.

Let's call her Jessica.

Every time she would come visit and she seemed to be in Santa Monica a lot,

they always went on walks together. You know, it was never coming to the house and doing something. It was always like we just like to go on walks when she's this yoga healer woman which already made me go

Uh-oh. She always seemed very concerned about how he was doing, which bugged me.

And I got a weird vibe about her.

And the first time I met her, I was like,

oh God, I'm in trouble.
