From KCRW and KCRW.com, I'm Bob Carlson, and this is Unfictional.

Unfictional is KCRW's program of stories and original documentaries.

It's a part of KCRW's independent producer project,

a laboratory for independent radio producers, writers, and performers, creating funny, emotional, and surprising

stories of places and people, both ordinary and unusual.

And along with commissioning works from audio producers in this country, in the last few

months we've been enjoying documentaries from producers across the globe, from Australia,

the Netherlands, Ireland, and England.

In particular, I'm a big fan of the work of Alan Hall and

Falling Tree Productions.

They produce beautifully woven pieces for the BBC.

but a song.

A song you probably know very, very well.

And in this half hour, that song will be pulled apart, examined, critiqued, covered, and recovered.

Today on KCRW's unfictional, it's Rhapsody in Bohemia.

B, pukk, kah, tah g Anything with sybulence, of course, comes through very well.

Such a scurramush. It has a kind of rhythmic drive about it, doesn't it?
