I am the host of the show as well as the founder

of Brown Girl Self-Care.

Brown Girl Self-Care is a space of intentional healing

for black women who are still struggling

to identify the beauty within themselves

and are also struggling to live a life of wholeness

and wellness.

I realize I switched that up from what I normally say,

but I'm going straight from the heart on this

and straight from the heart on this specific episode.

So I'm just kind of in a state of, I guess, flow, if you will.

So if you hear me pausing, it's because I have zero notes

And I want to collect my thoughts.

So I want to talk about how we, black women, me, you,

I know you do it because I do it, and we can folk, right?

And I feel like I can be vulnerable with you

in this conversation.
