Have you noticed that the days are getting longer?

Which is really an interesting way of putting it,

because obviously the days aren't any longer or shorter,

but the amount of daylight is what changes.

And we have more daylight.

That started increasing on the first day of winter.

And I'm walking early in the morning.

I'm walking pre-sunrise. I'm walking pre-sunrise.

I'm walking pre-early daylight.

But if this were in the summer,

not only would I be warmer,

but I would be walking with a face full of sun.

But not so much now,

at this point not even a hint of early daylight.
