organic fertilizers and I said that in a synthetic voice because I'm going to be

talking about synthetic fertilizers as well.

Here we go. What is the difference between

synthetic and organic fertilizers?

Well, your plants actually don't really know the difference because plants take in

nutrients on an elemental level and nitrogen is nitrogen. It is an element Whether that's a organic or synthetic version of nitrogen doesn't really

matter to your plants. However, don't take that to mean that I am all for using synthetics.

Organic fertilizers have a lot of benefits over synthetics that you cannot get if you're buying man-made.

So, I personally prefer organic if I can. And there are different

types of organic fertilizers. There's dry fertilizers. These can be used on in-ground gardens and container-grown plants.

These types are generally added as a way of encouraging long-term growth in seedlings, transplants,

and crops.

And that's because they are slow release.

Since they are dry, they are made of small bits of solid matter, and they take a while to

decompose and become readily available in the soil for your plants.

There are liquid organic fertilizers.

So obviously these are fertilizers in liquid form.

They may sometimes use a binding agent to help them be better absorbed by the plant in question.

And you would typically use these to pour on the soil surrounding the plant so that they can be absorbed by the roots.

They can also be sprayed on as a fully-ar spray on the leaves as well.

But liquid fertilizers are generally considered good for plants that are actively growing and they are fast release
