Hello and welcome. My name's Fran Bruce. I am MD of Protection at Avivo and I should just explain that protection does not mean I'm some heavy security guard. Protection is definitely an industry term. It means we're trying to protect, provide financial security and peace of mind should the worse happen.

But I'm sure we'll get on to that a little bit later.

We were just talking, this is my first ever podcast.

absolutely. We've had tea or you've had coffee. I've had coffee. I've had some tea, so we're ready,

so we always start here because I think it's so important. So there'll be young people in all

walks of life. There'll also be some older people on LinkedIn and they'll be tuning in with their

pens and paper wanting to learn. So I always take it back down memory lane. And my first question

is, what was your first job that paid you your first bit of money? What did that job teach you

that you want to pass on to young people across the country? Okay, so my first

job was actually on the farm working for my dad. So a bit different maybe to what other people

might have had. I did have a Saturday job at Tesco as well, but I think the job on the farm

is probably what taught me the most. So there was always a job to be done. No matter whether it was Monday to Friday,
