Today's topic, my director's resigning chapter one, never counteroffer, part three, and I promise the end.

For those of you who are with us for Parts 1 and 2, you might be surprised a little bit because we don't have Mark on today's show.

We've asked Danny to step in and share her thoughts on this stuff.

The reason being is Mark is overseas with the poor internet connection and we can't

record the show.

So Danny, as always is going to do a great job for us here.

Very very glad to be here always.

And so to give you some context, Danny,

where we finished off with Mark, last last show was we were talking about our

point six in our several page outline about don't make a counteroffer right

and that really is the heart of the matter of this particular show. And we

recommend that you don't counteroffer. And there are three main reasons, one being the

likelihood of success is low. The cost-benefit analysis is not great, and there's

potential of some relationship damage. And we talked about the likelihood of success being low,

you know, they just don't work for it often.

And if they work in the short term, there are long term consequences and they really don't work in the long term.
