With a

one minute look at culture from a Christian worldview. I'm John Stone Street with the point. A recent study covered in the New York Times which involves 75

researchers providing songs from their own cultures found that these songs shared

similar features of pitch and tempo.

Now some think the similarity reflected the bias of the researchers, but others think it points to something innate in human beings.

Whereas theologian and musician Dr. Jeremy Begby stated in an upstream interview with

Shane Morris, quote, there are universals, what's called musical behaviors almost certainly,

and part of that is because the way our bodies are made and the way the physical world is."

The art and beauty of music points to something much deeper than just mere evolutionary

development.

Music reveals an intelligent design in the world and therefore a designer. Made in the quote, my lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to you, my soul also, which you have redeemed.
