Welcome to our Rosary meditation. We are just leaving the scene of the

temptation of Christ on the mount of temptation in Jericho and we are now traveling to Mount Tabor.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. Our first meditation, the

temptation of Christ, Matthew chapter 4. Then Jesus was led by the spirit

into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

He fasted 40 days and 40 nights, after which he was very hungry.

The devil showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour.

I will give you all these, he said, if you fall at my feet and worship me.

Jesus replied, Be gone, Satan, for scripture says, you must worship the Lord your God and serve Him alone.

And then the devil left Him, and the angels appeared and ministered to Him.
