Day 24 hours ago. And now we have announcements in all directions and the first day of reaction in the world

markets. You could sum it up by saying nobody's happy. Verenaic, a very good evening to you.

The unhappiness now is going to have one explanation as to where this is going, because we had a bad

first day. You point out in your essay yesterday that the U.S. is not and never has been chumps taken advantage of.

It's an all-powerful state.

And now that we've had the announcements from the White House,

do you measure that the White House understands that, the power of the U.S.?

No, I mean, I think the White House has a very, like, there's a profound contradiction

internally in the White House.

On one hand, they know they can flex their muscle, which means that they understand they're a powerful country, rich country, a country that other countries need.

It's an enormous consumer market. It's an enormous consumer market.

It's an enormous financial market.

It's an enormous everything, right?

It's important for defense.

It's important for all sorts of things.

And yet, the rhetoric is as if somehow we need to do this because that's the only way for us to get rich

and for wealth to grow and for us to prosper.

In fact, that's what the president said yesterday.
