You ask permission to do things like launch a Starship from Boca Chica

if you're SpaceX and you wait and wait and wait. You're not waiting even for the federal

Environmental Protection Agency about launching a Starship.

However, that is simply a minor matter compared to what Verinique tells us the permission for US Steel

to be purchased by Nippon Steel in these last hours rejected by the

Biden administration and the person of the vice president, now a presidential

contestant, and by Mr. Trump, again, permission for a private enterprise to sell itself to another private enterprise and we take it for granted.

occur to me until I read your column that I don't know why we wait for permission
