administration and the Trump administration and the Obama administration

all administrations are keen on manufacturing as the demonstration of

American creativity and prosperity. However, I welcome Bernique to Regi of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University,

writing at Creative Syndicate and at the National Review online,

about manufacturing policy in the Congress and in the White House today and

how it does not comport with some of the facts such as it is very difficult to find a

workforce that is educated to operate in the modern factory.

There are huge bills out there that have been passed by Congress. All of them end with the word trillion, T, trillion.

And they're about manufacturing. What is the vision that they have that needs to be done. Why what is that money for good

evening to you? Good evening John. So there are different bills like the

inflation reduction act the CHIP Act and the the infrastructure the to promote the manufacturing of green energy.

Also, there's some money for some broadband

and for infrastructure.

But ultimately, all of it is done

under the banner of promoting manufacturing and creating a lot of jobs for workers in America,

especially the non-educated ones.

And creating these jobs to go into a factory that's filled with robots and cost-saving devices.

This isn't the assembly line of the 1925 to 1935 era. Are the administrators

in the White House and Congress to your measure. Are they well educated that a factory looks

very different today than it did even 70 years ago?
