Peru's attorney general said that an investigation into President

Dina Bilarti has been widened to include a $56,000 carte bracelet in her possession and 1.1 million soles which is the equivalent of

about $300,000 American in bank deposits of unknown origin.

There was lots of excitement about Mr. Castillo being given the opportunity to leave to go into exile in Mexico as I recall,

but the decision was made to keep him in jail.

It appeared that President Bilarti had everything in hand, had delayed the election until things

calm down, so though she is president, she has not been endorsed by a vote of the people and now an
