Democrats by Mr. Vance and of course

course Mr. Bands and of course Mr Trump for the Republicans and the President of the

United States Joe Biden that tariffs are good for America.

I am not an economist.

I read books. I've done a biography of Adam Smith for example the

genius of Adam Smith publishing his book wealth of nation 1776 coincidentally

another important day, is that he understood that buying from a nation

that does the best work of what you want is better for everyone. Trade is better for everyone. Tariffs

are the opposite of trade. So how is it that here in the 21st century our political leaders believe that tariffs are necessary.

Good evening John and you're right. I mean like they all they all want tariffs I mean President

Trump called himself the terrorist man tariff man he implemented some tariffs

that the Biden Harris administration mostly kept and recently President Trump said I think

two nights ago he said that that tariffs was like the greatest thing

invented ever.
