When you took the job at McLaren, we spoke right after that and you looked like a man

who was asked to climb Mount Everest, not by yourself, but the task was tall enough to where,

holy crap, I don't know if we're going to get this to where it needs to be. Give me your thoughts,

personal level, achievement. Did you believe this was something you could do in the time frame you've done today?

What you started?

It was clearly the dream, but dreams don't always come true.

And 2% covers the whole field.

So as I tell people, even the worst team in Formula One is really good to win 14 races this year,

back to Matt constructors, two drivers going into the final race, fighting for the World

Championship, two of the three. We'd like to get it done a little bit earlier. I think we made

it a little bit hard work, but that's racing, made it a little bit more exciting.

You know, kind of yes and no. I mean, how can you ever have so much confidence to go?

Yeah, it's going to happen. It's like, you know, if you're a baseball player, do you think you're going to win the World Series?

That's why you're there. Do it in your heart of your hearts? Like you gotta believe, but until it happens, a lot of people that have tried to win

a little championships or win World Series or Super Bowls, and it just doesn't come together.

So it's been amazing.
