Kirk, we're getting close to a 2026 IndyCar season.

0:10.4

You came into the Andretti Global family, well-established team, well-established veterans.

0:16.6

You find yourself now team leader in terms of veteran, duration, cool new teammate and Willpower coming in.

0:23.7

We'll talk about that guy in a moment.

0:25.2

Are you ready to be true team veteran team leader?

0:28.3

I'm not sure.

0:28.9

That's a good question.

0:30.0

It'd be hard to say that I'm the leader, right?

0:32.3

Because I'm really the rookie in comparison to what Marcus and Will have.

0:37.2

I mean, Will has got a pedigree 500 win championship, recent championship winner,

0:43.3

and outstanding competitor qualifier, everything.

0:47.3

You know, I'm going to learn so much from him.

0:49.3

So if anything, yes, you might consider me the veteran driver within the team, but definitely not the veteran out of the three drivers, right?

0:57.0

So it'll be interesting. I think we're going to key off of each other really, really well, because you got one driver that comes from one that's sought after to be one of the best teams in IndyCar, right?

1:06.0

And then you got Marcus, now a couple years into the team, starting to find his rhythm, almost won the 500 last year.

1:13.3

So there's a lot to learn from him too.

1:15.3

So I think we've got a really good camaraderie between us three with Will's pace, his knowledge, everything he's got to bring to the table, hopefully some pace on some of the road courses and ovals that we've needed. My street course stuff. And then you got Marcus has just turned into a wizard on the Speedway, right? So you got all of those bringing it together. I think we're all excited to see what we got. I wouldn't say one of us is saying, oh, I'm the leader. He's the leader. I think it's going to be different based on every single weekend. We're just going to learn off of each other. Tell me about Willpower. Competitor, right? You competed against this guy for a number of years. Know how strong and formidable he is. He's now your teammate. His very first test with the team at Phoenix, single day test, told me effectively, as soon as he got out of the car, just want to dive on the phone with you and market-like.

2:01.1

But tell me about that.

2:02.4

I love it.

2:03.5

I think Will is all in.

2:05.8

I've not had a teammate yet like that.

2:08.4

The first thing he wants to do when he gets out of the car is tell his teammates everything
