Hello and welcome to the week in sports cars. I'm Jonathan Grace. I'm joined this week by Graham Goodwin.

Marshall Pruitt podcast collection and we're glad you're joining us this week. Graham, we've got a lot to talk about.

We're seeing the covers come off of a lot of the WEC challengers. You were just in Italy. You literally just got back a few minutes ago. I suppose that's a good place to start. We'll get through some of the other cars on the grid. But let's open there because we're finally starting to see what the grid is actually going to look like in terms of their liverys. We are. And there's no surprise. It's red with yellow. You know,

no surprise is there, but there are some subtle tweaks. The car is in a gloss finish rather

than a matte finish this year. Those that take a bit of a look side by side with last year's

cars will notice that the yellow element of the livery is reversed. The arrow effectively

points backwards, but by far the most important change is the fact that it's carrying the manufacturer's World Championship Laurel wreaths on its flanks for both cars.

And in the case of the 51, because of course both the factory cars are returning crews, as by the way is the 83, although there's very little or no mention

of that car their launch yesterday, is that on the 51 car, above the cockpit, it's the

laurels for the reigning world driver's champions. In the case of Alessandro Pierre Greedy

and James Collardo, they will start

2026 in pursuit of a fifth world championship title. Because of course, one in Hypercar,

three prior titles in GTE Pro. And we're in the realms of history now. I mean, that is the

big story in Hypercar this year is who can unseat Ferrari,

A, at LaMaw, but B overall, you know, we've seen Porsche be dominant in years past. That obviously

is not a factor anymore. Who does this open the gate for, potentially in your mind?

I think the great part about it, Jonathan, for a number of reasons, we'll touch on a few of those

is what we love about a new season is the prospect of we don't know.

We don't know about the new tyres yet.

We don't know how good at various places the vast array of new Evo machinery are going to be.

Of course, we've got Genesis.
