Hi, my name is Pete Scuzaro. I want to welcome you today to the Emotionally Healthy Leader

podcast. Great to be with you. And our theme here is moving toward the burning bush. Moving toward the

burning bushes God has placed in your life, not away from them. And I'm going to be sharing in just a few minutes

an introduction to this message Jerry and I gave a few years ago around this theme and the

theme of quit living someone else's life. Before I do, however, let me just mention this.

One of the biggest issues we're facing today as pastors and leaders is not knowing the future and what it's going to be like post-COVID-19.

The world we know has drastically changed.

And as a result, we too need to change with it and how we deliver and lead in bringing the mission of Jesus to the world in our ministries, our churches, our nonprofits, our organizations.

And so we're headed into a whole new future.

So we're hosting an online event called Emotionally Healthy Leadership One Day Live Stream Experience on October 22nd, and I want to invite

you to it. It's going to be a four-hour experience, and we're going to share three

formational practices or tools that we're convinced leaders must develop to stay healthy, vibrant, and be able to multiply their impact long

term. And so our goal is really to help you and your team catch a fresh vision for this kind

of leadership, this kind of discipleship that our churches are going to need for the days ahead.
