My entitled mother tries to force an intervention between me and my sister, whom I have gone no contact with.

And I've never been more flabbergasted and freaked out in my life by my mother's behavior towards me.

And at this point, I'm wondering if I'm the jerk for choosing to go no contact

with basically my entire family.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so this happened on Friday, and I'm so beyond upset right now and I've gone completely no

contact for the immediate future with my mom. Also before we get started all names

are fake in this story. My sister Jane and I have no relationship. She's my sister by blood only.

I'll try to be as unbiased as possible here,

but she did some pretty awful things when our father passed away.

Things like withholding information about his estate, attempting to sell his home and split the profits with his fiance against my knowledge, not actually being there physically when he passed away in hospice care, etc.

Afterwards she would continuously gaslight me to the point where I went no contact with her back in

2018 and my life has been so much better without her in it.

My mom by the name of Brenda is not a fan of this.

She was divorced from my father and even though I loved him so much,

I have to admit that he wasn't the greatest parent in some aspects.

My sister and I not having a great relationship is mostly in part his fault.

Brenda doesn't like that her two only children have a non-existent relationship

and is constantly trying to fix it.

After being in therapy, I've started learning how to put up and enforce boundaries.

I don't like it when my mom attempts to fix our relationship, and I gently call her out on it each time.

For example, a few weeks ago, she mentioned how she wasn't going to name me or Jane as the executor
