Hello one Shakin Saints welcome back. I'm Jared Halverson and first of all I want to thank you for all the feedback you're giving us as we've shifted things over from my wife's little office at home to this beautiful facility that Faith Matters has put together. We're adjusting lighting and sound and all the setup and your feedback has been invaluable.

So thank you for weighing in with options and opinions and everything else.

Keep that coming and we can continue to make adjustments

as time goes on.

I also want to thank you, especially you parents,

that have loaned me some of your children or grandchildren

at BYU.

We just finished the semester there. I got to meet

several of you who came to visit your kids and sat in on class and you're amazing. Your

children and grandchildren are amazing. And so I'm just grateful for the chance to be

able to study such incredible truth as found in scripture with such incredible people.

And the same goes is true for us here. I'm so grateful that you would come and spend your time with me studying

scripture and this week we've got some fascinating scripture to study. Sadly it's

often lost in the shuffle in the book of Messiah because you get King Benjamin we spent two weeks

with him and he deserves every second and then next week we'll get a binadai and to go from

king Benjamin to a binadai I mean talk about an incredible one-two punch but they

are interrupted by four little chapters, Mosiah 7-8 9-10 that often get

overlooked and that's sad what we're going to be doing this week, it's not the famous

storylines, it's not the incredible sermons, but there is some connective tissue that's

going to take us from King Benjamin to flash us back

to so we can meet Abinadi next week.

We're going to be covering these four chapters like I said and each one of them has some gems that I really wanted to mine with you.
