Hello my friends welcome back to Unshaken I'm Jared Halverson and I have been holding my breath for the last seven days

Hungering down in my tent tent flaps open toward the temple of waiting on with baited breath on every word that's coming from King

Benjamin's mouth. We stopped mid sermon last time. So we're going to pick up right

where we left off and allow King Benjamin to keep on speaking. He deserves

the two weeks he's getting and in fact he deserves a lifetime of careful study but we had to split somewhere and the curriculum writers decided let's stop after chapter three. Now in some ways after chapter 4 might have

been better because that's technically the end of the sermon and then we see it's

aftermath in 5. But I'm grateful that we paused after chapter 3 to collect our thoughts,

to allow the realities of what King Benjamin was teaching us to sink into the soul

before we move forward into chapter 4. Chapter 3 in some ways was a great lull, a pause, because what you'll see

from King Benjamin is him describing what he learned from the angel and then he lets, he just

lets it sit there.

He waits to see what the response will be from his hearers,

and this week that's us.

So will we have a chapter four kind of experience

on the heels of chapter three, the way King Benjamin's people did.

Quick review to get us up to speed. Chapter one of Mosiah last week was laying a

scriptural foundation for the sermon that was to follow. Chapter 2 then was King Benjamin's words.

Chapter 3 is the angel's words.

So there's a difference in source there.

But what King Benjamin was hoping to do in Chapter 2
