Hello my friends welcome back to Unchaken. I'm Jared Halverson and I am so excited for today's material.

Honestly, I've been chomping at the bit as much as I love the smallest portions of the small plates of

Mefai with Enus and Gerham and Amnai and Words of Mormon.

Today we are diving into one of the best parts of the Book of Mormon,

namely the Book of Mosiah.

We're going to be spending the next, oh, month and a half or so here.

And it's one of the more difficult books to study

because there's flashbacks and there's two different places

that with people going through three different generations

almost simultaneously, this can be tricky.

So we're gonna need to work our way through it in such a way that we make sense of the storyline as we go through.

I'll do my best to help with that but it starts simply because we get to meet King Benjamin and And if you are a teacher, if you're a

leader, if you're a parent, then most likely King Benjamin's one of your heroes.

He, I'll put it this way, have you ever at the end of a family home evening lesson at the end of a class that you've taught or some kind of training meeting have you ever had your students or your children say this to you I'm going to quote from Mosiah chapter 5 verse 2.

He said, they all cried with one voice saying,

Yay, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us.

And also we know of their surety and truth.

We've already gone from belief all the way to knowledge

because of the spirit of the Lord omnipotent,

which has wrought a mighty change in us or in our hearts that we have no more disposition to do evil,

but to do good continually. Yeah, I'm still holding out hope that my kids will say that to me at the end of

a family home evening
